What is Faith?

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬)
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬)

. . .

Faith is a spiritual gift that enables one to do what could not be done under normal strength or circumstances. The gift is given in conjunction with one’s life purpose or assignment.

God is the giver of all gifts.

Those who have the gift of faith are aware of it, but most are unaware. Those who are unaware of their faith gift will often be heard making statements like “I don’t know, I just did it.” “It was an instinct.” “I just felt like …”. These statements are borne out of ignorance in either knowledge of their gift or of the Giver. Those who desire the gift of faith can ask Father God for it.

. . .

Our faith grows the more we step out to use it. But faith can be hampered by fear or doubt or unbelief. Faith can also be stagnant when dormant – not used.

I’m in need of an increase in faith. I hope you are too. I have therefore compiled the following verses to help us. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭10:17‬). As you read the following scriptures, I pray that your faith increases. If you desire the gift of faith, ask God for it now.

. . .

‭‭(Romans‬ ‭4:20‬)

. . .

I hope you felt your faith increasing as you read these scriptures.

Remain blessed.
